Service Sales Representative
Job Description:
The Service Sales Representative is responsible for planning and coordinating activities with potential clients to promote company products. This includes both inside and outside sales of maintenance contracts, replacement batteries and critical power equipment. The selected candidate will perform all job functions from his or her home and receive a commission-based compensation package.

Preventive Maintenance Contracts
Job Description:
24/7 Technology specializes in the service, maintenance, and repair of UPS (Uninterruptible Power Systems), rectifiers, batteries, and power distribution equipment. Our customers are companies, many in the Fortune 500, who rely on our services to keep their mission critical data and telecom centers in operation around the clock. We currently have an opportunity in the Atlanta area for a Battery/Warehouse Support Technician. The ideal candidate has some basic electrical, warehouse, and heavy lifting experience. Previous experience with replacing batteries in UPS or DC Plant systems is a plus. We will provide formal and on-the-job training related to our specific industry and the equipment we service.
Responsibilities:
Replace batteries in UPS and DC Plant systems. Includes transportation of batteries using company truck/trailer, disconnect/reconnect of battery cables, removal/reinstallation of batteries.
Handle various warehouse activities such as loading/unloading trucks with lift truck or pallet jack, strapping and storing of old batteries on pallets, dismantling of old equipment for parts, organizing parts storage, keeping warehouse orderly, keeping warehouse clean including sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash, and palletizing/packaging of equipment and parts to be shipped.
Deliver and pick up heavy equipment via company truck/trailer.
Assist with rigging of equipment in/out of customer buildings.
Assist with emergencies on customer equipment by finding needed replacement parts in warehouse and delivering to UPS technician at customer site.
Requirements:
- Must have experience with heavy lifting. Batteries typically weigh 60-100 pounds. We have hydraulic lifts that can be used on heavier batteries, but lifting is still required to move batteries between lift and pallet/equipment. On a typical battery job there are 40-80 batteries to be replaced. On larger jobs with heavier batteries, a UPS technician will help with the lifting.
- Must have experience with pulling a trailer with a pickup truck.
- Must have experience with safe operation of a lift truck.
- Must have some basic electrical experience, specifically an understanding of DC power and how to work safely around batteries and battery chargers. Previous experience with replacing batteries in a UPS or DC Plant is a plus.
- Must live within 45 minutes of our warehouse location (in Marietta, near Kennesaw Mountain).
- Proven experience with managing customer communications while performing service at customer sites.

UPS Field Service Engineer
Job Description:
The UPS Field Service Engineer is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing customer equipment. Duties include onsite testing, equipment upgrades, and offsite repairs.
Responsibilities:
Repairs/maintains uninterruptible power systems and other critical power equipment.
Requirements:
We are looking for a self-starter with a focus on quality. The selected candidate must work well with clients and possess strong organizational skills. Previous experience with a major manufacturer or independent service organization preferred; however, individuals with prior military experience in an electronic MOS and/or recent tech school graduates may be considered.
